What a sick season 2011 was for the Zephyr team and customers.
Starting a month earlier than normal, we had great winds for the school holidays and a good 4 months of solid kiting and relaxing on the Cocos Keeling Islands.
The new and improved kite team taught over 180 lessons, guided 6 lagoon crossings, took only 2 kiters to hospital (with fin chops), improved their kiting ten fold and cant wait to do it all again.
The Pro Tour in October was defiantly a highlight. Read about it [left] and keep your eyes peeled for a feature article in some of the top international kite mags.
With the seasons continuously changing and new toys always being invented, we have now added Stand Up Paddle [SUP] and SUP tours to our amazing Island water wonderland.
The last group gave our new Fanatic Fly boards a test in the lagoon over the blue waters and also gave it a nudge in the small waves at the Spot. Zephyr Kite tours is looking at including SUP to our name so we can keep on adding more adventures and keep the good times flowing.
