The Cocos (Keeling) Islands are located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, 2750km north-west of Perth, and 900km west south-west of Christmas Island. The windy season goes from June to November and the temperatures are consistent between 22-29°C morning, noon & night.

Cocos Islands may be an ideal place to kitesurf, but sometimes that's not what life is ALL about! There are many activities to experience which are great for non-kiters, lay days and just some good ol' time out!

Direction Islands Rip Snorkel
Take a Ferry to the most beautiful Island in the world and sit in the lee of the wind and relax. Direction Island is famous for its blue water and the amazing Rip snorkel. The rip is a 50m long, 10m deep channel that flows from the ocean into the lagoon. There is a massive abundance of sea life and heaps of fun to flow down it with the little (and big) fishies. |

Golf
Wind or no-wind; Scroungers golf with the locals is a must. There’s clubs to hire with personal mini eskies and ice for your beer. Shoes are unnecessary along with any golfing skills – it’s all about the laughs and hanging out – cocos-style!
