All these kites are in excellent condition. They were used in our Cocos Islands kite centre. Most of these were used very little as most people brought their own kites this year.

The Iron Heart III always works with nearly the same, very low forces. - Even when tested salty and very sandy.
Even 2010, still lots of systems don’t work at all or the release forces are way too high!
The first test shows the release forces in dry condition of the release system, the second one in sandy, salty and wet conditions.
Some of the results are more than scary and have nothing to do with a safety solution.
For example: an average sporty woman is able to pull up to 10kg at a safety system.
But most of the systems need, especially when sandy, much higher release forces to be activated!
So lots of the “safety” systems are just useless under pressure and can not be released at all.

Dec '12: (For Girls)
This is actually a guys harness for advanced freestyle but some of us Aussie girls in our industry tried this on and decided it was the best fit for girl kiters.
It has lots of comfort and good back support & doesn't dig into hips or boobs but gives a lot of support around the waist (where many other girl dedicated harnesses lack). Its comfy and moulds to your body in just a few sessions. Highly recommended. ION Madtixx2 |
